Spain to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +125
Spain, being favorites to win the World Cup, are naturally also the favorites to reach the semi-final stage. They have only managed this twice in their history at World Cups, in 1950, and in 2010 - when they went on to lift the trophy. However, Spain do have recent international success, winning Euro 2024 in impressive style.
France to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +150
France have an excellent World Cup record, reaching the semi-finals seven times in their history. Les Bleus have gone one better and played in the final of the last two World Cups, winning their 2018 final, and losing to Argentina in 2022. France have a star studded roster for the 2026 World Cup and look like they will be difficult to stop.
England to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +185
England are usually one of the favorites for international competitions, despite their lack of success in international football. The Three Lions are third favorites to reach the World Cup semi-final, despite only having done so three times in their history. New manager Thomas Tuchel will be looking for a successful first tournament in charge of England, who managed to reach the Euro 2024 final under Gareth Southgate, before losing to Spain.
Argentina to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +225
Current World Cup champions Argentina are among the favorites to reach the World Cup semi-final stage, too. They have won the World Cup three times in total, including in 2022, and have reached the semi-finals in two of the last three World Cups, losing in the 2014 final. Argentina also reached the quarter-finals in both 2006 and 2010.
Brazil to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +225
Brazil have been consistently strong at recent World Cups, reaching the quarter-final stage or better in all of their most recent eight appearances at the tournament since 1994. Over this period, Brazil have won the World Cup twice, and have been eliminated in the semi-final twice, too. The Selecao have a strong roster for the 2026 World Cup, as well as a legendary manager in Carlo Ancelotti.
Portugal to Reach the World Cup Semi-Final Odds
Odds: +250
Portugal will be looking to improve on their quarter-final exit at the 2022 World Cup, in what is set to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s final World Cup for his nation, aged 41. Portugal haven’t reached the semi-final of the World Cup since 2006, with two round of 16 exits, a group stage exit, and a quarter-final elimination since then. Portugal are another nation with an excellent roster for the tournament, including Ronaldo, Vitinha, Bernardo Silva, Joao Neves, and Ruben Dias.
