'Fair Play' is a discretionary house rule that helps protect your straight bets, SGPs and parlays from player injuries - during the allotted time for each sport.

If a player goes down injured inside the first half and you place a straight bet - you get your money back. If it's a parlay or SGP - the rest of your bet plays out.

We did, and more that 14% of new customers selected it as a reason for choosing Fanatics Sportsbook. So we brought it back and made it better than ever!

This year alone Fair Play has saved over 500,000 bets. Since September 2024 we have seen more than $10m in bets saved.

It is estimated that over $54 million* in bets were lost last football season on other sportsbooks due to not having Fair Play.

If you have placed a Straight bet? You get your money back.

If you have placed a Parlay or SGP? The rest of your bet plays out.

NFL Player Prop Bets will be refunded or settled as a win (if you bet the under). If your player leaves injured in the 1st Half and doesn't return due to injury.

Excludes Preseason game.

MLB Player Prop Bets will be refunded or settled as a win (if you bet on the under) in the following scenarios:

• A pitcher starts the game and throws at least one pitch, then leaves the game with an injury before recording three outs.
• A batter starts the game and records at least one plate appearance, then leaves the game for any reason before the start of their second plate appearance.

Excludes All Star events.

WNBA Player Prop Bets will be refunded or settled as a win (if you bet the under) if your player leaves in the 1st Quarter and doesn't return due to injury.

Excludes All Star events.

NHL Player Prop Bets will be refunded or settled as a win (if you bet the under) if your player leaves injured in the 1st Period and doesn't return due to injury.

NBA Player Prop Bets will be refunded or settled as win (if you bet the under) if your player leaves in the 1st Half and doesn't return due to injury.

Excludes All Star events.

Soccer Player Prop bets will be refunded or settled as a win (if you bet the under) if the selected player starts the event but is substituted during the 1st Half of Regulation Time, including 1st Half injury time.

• Excludes substitituions made during halftime
• Excludes Club and International Friendlies

If you placed a Moneyline (Match Result) wager on a player/team to win a match, and that player/team retired or is disqualified after the match has started, your wager will be refunded, and the player/team that is awarded the victory/progresses to the next round will be settled as the Winner. All other undetermined markets on that match will be voided (i.e. stake refunded).

If a player start the tournament but withdraws from the tournament before teeing off in the second round, any undetermined selections will be void.
